Welcome to the April 2005 issue of The Pentashield.
Firstly, as you may have noticed, this issue is later than normal
following the Committee’s decision to delay the publication of the
April edition to allow a report on the Drag Day to be published in the
magazine.
Secondly we have some new content in this issue, particularly the articles on the new Chrysler cars coming out of the USA.
This issue features the following -:
* The abovementioned Drag Day report
* A review, by John Huntington, of the Chryslers on the Murray event in March of this year
* A controversial article on the new Charger, by
Dave Moore, and a review of the SRT-8 four door Sedan sourced from
various newspapers.
In addition there are some entries in the Technical File that will
interest members and of course some sprinklings of interesting pics and
humour.
Included are Committee Member reports from Gerry and Nik and we have an updated Events Schedule.
There are no letters to the Editor this month. In fact it is now three issues since a letter has been received!
Perhaps readers may like to comment on Dave Moor’s article on the new
Charger. Come on members get your act together and drop a line to the
Editor.
