G’day
all. It has been a hectic yet wonderful part of the year with plenty
of Mopar events happening around the place. Not being able to attend
them all makes the ones that you do get to all the more enjoyable. A
big pat on the back to the Slick Six Pack guys for the premier
Tamworth Chrysler Nationals. With over one hundred cars in attendance
it was an outstanding effort and a tribute to all the hard work that
Phil and the gang put on behind the scene. During most of Saturday
the phone was stuck to the side of his head. With an excellent venue
and a very relaxing atmosphere it is a must attend event and I’m
sure the guys we went up with will be going again next year.
Congratulations
to Nik who placed in the top ten. Another show we attended was the
American Car Nationals. This incorporates a Chrysler show and this
year it was a pleasant surprise with the larger number of Chrysler
entrants. Numbers and quality were well up from last year.
Fairfield
is fast approaching and promises to be bigger and better again, so
get polishing. Even if you can’t make it in your car, come
along and say hello.
Entries
for the Dyno day are rapidly coming in so don’t delay, or you
might miss out.
I’m
aware that not all of you live in a place where it is practical to go
on a club run. If you have any ideas or places of interest to suggest
we would love to hear from you. Sometimes a few of us go on a run
somewhere at short notice. It is not always practical to call
everyone or have enough time to do a mail out. If you would be
interested in attending one of our impromptu Runs and you have an
E-Mail address, E-Mail me and I will notify you a few days before
hand. Otherwise keep your eyes open for the next events calendar.
Regards,
Gerry
