Hi Mopar Lovers.

Well this is the last time I will be reporting to you the members of this fine club.

I have just done some checking to see when I became president of CAVOA and checking through all my old issues of The Pentashield. July 1994 seems to be the date so I guess I have set some sort of club record that I hope will some day be beaten.

Some people say that there should be a cap on the length of time that any position is held within a committee. Personally I feel that if the person is doing a good job and they have the members support then they should stay for as long as they are voted in, or at least as long as they accept the nomination.

In my case I need to devote more of my time to other aspects of our hobby and hopefully some more personal time in there as well. Sometimes you need to say “I am not going to go on that run” and not have to worry about it.

Actually I’m looking forward to attending meetings, sitting at the back and just being a normal club member again.

To all the members of this club, past and present, I just want to say

“Thanks for the memories.”
