Welcome
to another eventful report.
Well
we are speeding towards the end of another year and it seems the
older one gets the quicker they go by! Since my last report we had a
good attendance at the All Chrysler Day with a total of 14 cars. The
weather was kind on the day after a wet start. Club members picked up
a couple of trophies and we saw a few of our out of town members who
cannot come to our regular events.
The
Dyno shootout did not eventuate as the owner of the venue went on an
overseas trip. However the good news is that he is now back and the
event has been re-organized for the 29th of February next
year
The
trip to Cooma for their motor fest did not attract as many entrants
as we had hoped. I could not attend due to work commitments but John
and Janice Huntington managed to go and by all accounts had a great
time.
Next
Sunday is the club Christmas Party at Brays Bay Reserve, Rhodes on
the Parramatta River. We have finalized the catering but if your
still want to come please let us know ASAP.
The
Summernats in January next year are on the 9th. If
you want to join in contact Ray Webb as soon as possible.
Our
premier event for the year is the Darling Harbour Display day on the
Old Pyrmont Bridge on Sunday February the 8th. If you were
a previous entrant you will receive an entry form in the mail. We
have also included an Entry Form in this magazine. We would
appreciate any help you can give on the day, even if you do not
enter, and we need raffle prizes to help raise funds for Barnados
charity that receive the surplus of the day.
March
is looking to be one of the busiest months I have seen with a great
number of car shows around the country. However the one to go to if
you haven’t been before is Chryslers on the Murray. It should
be HUGE.
Just
room left to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Valiant New Year.
Graham.
