Welcome to the August 2006 issue of The Pentashield.

This month we have a slightly different issue with an emphasis on motor vehicle pictures and paintings. If the issue was in colour the illustrations would be outstanding, but even in black and white they make eye catching viewing.

This issue features the following -:

• A CAVOA club member profile.

• Some interesting eye candy including a bevy of classic cars.

- A review of the SA All Chrysler Day DVD by Hugh Savage

Included is a Committee Member report from Gerry and we have an updated Events Schedule. There is no Events Report for this month as copy was not received in time for publication.

I have included some interesting historical information on the Club sent to us by a former club member. If any member has any copies of early correspondence please forward it to the Editor.

There are of course some additional items of wisdom, pictorial humour and a short article on a design feature of the Aussie Charger.
