October 2005 PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 15 December 2005
Welcome to the November 2005 issue of The Pentashield.

Unfortunately the October issue had to be postponed due to my commitments with the All Chrysler Day which added to printing problems arising from format differences with the Office Express Software. These problems have now been solved and the issue is finally here - and what a bumper issue it is!

This issue features the following -:
  • A comprehensive article on the history of the Dodge Charger by John Huntington.
  • A Feature Film Review on “The Dukes of Hazard” by Hugh Savage.
  • A Review of the Tamworth Nationals and the purchase of duds by Fletch.
  • A short article by the Editor on the design of modern cars. Letters expressing different opinions would be welcomed by the Editor!

As usual we have included Committee Member reports from Gerry and Nik and we have an updated Events Schedule together with instructions on how to get to the Christmas Party in December.

In addition there are some other items of wisdom or of a humorous nature.

We have included an Entry Form for our Darling Harbour Display day in February next year on the last page of this issue. If you wish to participate in this event tear the page off and get your entry in early as places on Pyrmont Bridge are limited.

Lastly my sincere thanks to John Huntington, Hugh Savage and Mark Fletcher for their contributions to this issue. This issue has the most comprehensive and wide ranging submission by club members for any issue since I have been Editor. Excellent job fellas – keep up the good work!

Cheers,
Michael
