Wakefield Park Track Day
Tuesday, 19 June 2007
Ever wanted to know how your car would go on a race track or have the pleasure of driving without having to worry about the police?
Well here's your chance.
CAVOA will be holding a track day in conjunction with the 72-82 Ford V8 and Cobra Owners Club on the 29th of July at Wakefield Park Raceway.
We wish to extend an invitation to all Chrysler enthusiasts to come join us. This is not a round of the Australian Touring Car championship, it is a social day for Chrysler Enthusiasts with an emphasis on FUN. If you don't wish to participate, you are still more than welcome to come along and check out the mighty Mopars on display and on the track. We have been allocated 25 of the 50 positions so get in quick as spots will fill quickly.
The day will be similar to a No Speed Limit day and entrants will need to purchase a Wakefield Licence for $50, unless you  already have a valid one or a CAMS licence, at the track.
Meet at Leo's Diner at 5:00am for a 5:30am leave.

Chryslers on the Murray 07
Wednesday, 06 June 2007
Well we've had our annual pilgrimage down to the banks of the Murray via a detour through Cootamundra and Wagga, when you detour in the country you really DO DETOUR!! Apart from a few minor mishaps over the weekend, all unrelated to the dreaded CAVOA curse (thanks El Presidente), everyone had a great time. Congratulations to Marianne for her Top Ten performance plus taking out the best 1961 to 1981 and Nik for best modified Pacer. The club had a terrific turnout for the event, with 17 cars on display. Thanks to the Albury Wodonga Club for organising a great event once again. Don't forget to check out the gallery for photos of the show. If you couldn't make it, or would like to relive it, you can order your Chryslers on the Murray DVD by contacting the committee.

Darling Harbour Display day 07
Tuesday, 29 May 2007
Hi All.
CAVOA's 12th Annual Darling Harbour Charity Display day was held in February. While the day was a mixture of sunshine and showers we still had a good turn out of cars with a lot of variety. Thanks to all those who turned out and made it a great day and to Chrysler for providing two new Dodge Calibers, they certainty seemed to generate a lot of interest. Your entry and the annual raffle helped raise a generous amount for Barnardos Australia. Check out the gallery for a snapshot of the day and if you couldn't make it you can get your display day t-shirt by e-mailing us.

This stunning AP6 ute was voted best of show by the entrants.
